“We recently completed our fourth transaction with Rick and his team.  Over the years we purchased and sold condominiums at Landmark on the Lake and most recently purchased a new home in Fox Point. Throughout the process we found Rick and the team to be knowledgeable and trustworthy.”

– Eben Slaunwhite, Eastside Milwaukee

Welcome To The Neighborhood

Just north of downtown Milwaukee, the bluffs of stunning Lake Michigan to the west, and the winding Milwaukee River to the east, real estate in this vibrant neighborhood is highly coveted. Eastside Milwaukee features elegant homes in both classic and contemporary styles, numerous green spaces and well-known parks, a variety of dining establishments and entertainment venues, fashionable boutiques, and proximity to major health and educational facilities. Milwaukee’s only Whole Foods Market is also located in this trendy community.

This dynamic region has always had a reputation of being a cultural nucleus. From the late 1800s to 1920s, the city’s affluent population built historical mansions that have been beautifully preserved on shores of Lake Michigan. While newer built condos, lofts, single family homes, and high rise apartment complexes are also located on tree-lined streets making this neighborhood a wonderful melting pot of residents.

Highly walkable, you will find a plethora of social, cultural, and recreational activities as soon as you step out your front door. Investing in eastside Milwaukee’s real estate is a wise venture for every buyer, regardless of what phase of life they are in.

What You Will Love

Built in 1927, the historic Oriental Theatre features east Indian architecture and is still in operation offering foreign, popular, and independent films including the world record for continuous showings of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, on the second Saturday of each month. This beloved venue is a Milwaukee landmark and a must see for film lovers.

Offering panoramic views of Lake Michigan, the 138-acre Lake Park was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted who is also known for designing New York’s Central Park. This urban park features numerous trails, a golf course, lawn bowling, huge playground, and areas for various sports activities. You will love the tours at the historical and haunted North Point lighthouse and delicious French cuisine Bartolotta’s Lake Park Bistro.

Ranked #3 on USA Today’s 2016 best urban beaches, Bradford Beach has fun activities for every age: beach bars, jet ski rentals, volleyball courts, and more. Whether you want to get away from the bustle, have a bonfire on the white-sand beach, or fill your pockets with beautiful sea glass, you will return time and again to this Eastside Milwaukee hotspot.

Local Places We Love

Milwaukee has many amazing streets with unique charisma and the Eastside has two of our favorites. The historic Downer Avenue offers dining, shopping, fun annual events, and Milwaukee’s oldest operating movie theatre that just celebrated its 100th year. Or head over to Brady Street, which features locally owned and operated establishments such as speciality shops, ethnic restaurants, funky coffee shops, and a lively nightlife in buildings constructed from 1860-1930. Take a stroll down these two charming roads and let us know which one is your favorite.

For cool, handmade, eco-friendly gifts, support over 100 local artisans at Waxwing where you will find one-of-a-kind candles, jewelry, clothing, knickknacks, cards, wall art, and much more.

Nine Below has reinvented mini-golf and we are thrilled. Design and build your own mini-golf course, choose boundaries, add obstacles, and play a custom 9-hole course while enjoying libations from their fully stocked bar. Then head upstairs to Beans and Barley for Milwaukee’s best vegetarian burritos and other fresh, healthy, and organic meals, or shop at their mini Whole-foods inspired grocery. Meat eaters, don’t despair, they also serve amazing locally-sourced, sustainable non-vegetarian options too.

Have a craving for authentic Japanese ramen? Wildly successful as a weekend pop-up restaurant, Red Light Ramen now has its own space. Featuring the customer favorite Tonkotsu ramen as well as curry using locally-sourced beef, seasonal eclectic snack items, delicious desserts, and more – your only problem will be your growling stomach while you wait for your table.
